Blood pattern evidence can be found  at a variety of crime scenes, such as assaults or murder scenes. Blood distribution can be examined, interpreted and the results compared with alleged events in order to ascertain by what actions the blood may have been deposited, and whether the evidence supports suggested scenarios.
